A timeless classic
What a great album. I have listened to it everyday since it's release and it never gets old. A timeless classic for years to come. I have been a Sheby fan since the 80's and discovered Allsion when she released Crows. I love this record!
I expected Moorer. And more.
After enjoying many tracks from Alison Moorer's "Down To Believing"album, I was excited to see this collaboration with her well-regarded sister Shelby Lynne, but I found this underwhelming. It's dry and dull. Needs some uptempo tunes!
Not Dark Yet

Great cover version of a Classic Bob Dylan song....Not Dark Yet (shortened a bit). Good album.
Simply beautiful, unattached from expectations delivering a soulful exacting punch to all music sensibility. I don't know who these ladies are but I can't stop listening to this album on NPRs First Listen. I look forward to learning more about who these gals are and of course the records they've released.

Shelby has such a soulful voice and has a history of amazing covers - check out "Rainy Night in Georgia" of the Dusty Springfield album. This promises to be a great one with Allison included

i've been reading about this release and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival. judging from the first couple of songs released, it sounds like a winner. two very talented artists with voices that blend only like siblings can. highly recommend!
Or maybe it sounds like a Bob Dylan song
I have been a fan of both Allison and Shelby for a long time. This first taste of what to look forward to on the album is a good one. Not Dark Yet sounds like a Shelby song looking forward to Allison's contributions. Both great artists but i lean towards Allison as better songwriter and Shelby the more versitle vocalist. Together this album should be a can't miss as this song does nothing to discourage that sentiment.
