  • They Need to Stop Making Music

Blind, Deaf, and Dumb is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Atreyu is still somewhat enjoyable sonically, but the minute they tried to go mainstream with Lead Sails, Paper Anchor, they were basically finished. Their music has gotten dumber and dumber. It's like they have nothing to write about, no inspiration, and they're just making the songs someone tells them to make. A Death Grip on Yesterday is one of the best albums in the genre, so I'm not a hater. This is just bad and it will make you like the old albums less. I actually feel sort of insulted by this album. If they have nothing left to say, they should stop making music. It's that simple.
  • Pleasant surprise

In a time where older bands are coming out with disappointing albums, this was a break from That trend. From Someone who hasn’t listened to Atreyu in a long while, this was a pleasant surprise

I’d think 4 out of 5 starts is a good placement for my review. Some of it is incredibly cool! I love “In Our Wake”, “Nothing Will Ever Change”, “The Time is Now”, “Anger Left Behind” and “Super Hero” (feat. my favorite singer in Matt Shadows of A7X). The rest will likely take time to grown on me... Great Album Atreyu and I liked the direction you went for this album.

Should’ve previewed a bit. Wish I could get a refund. Sounds like a tryout to be the next hit on a Marvel soundtrack
  • Great album... well crafted songs

SO WHAT IF IT’S NOT OLD ATREYU... just to get that outta’ the way. Yea sure, I miss the old Atreyu sound as well, but if that’s the case, I just pop in an old record then. You can’t deny that this is a good album. Different style, a little easier on the ears, but still catchy. If anything, they’re just becoming a gateway band for people wanting to get into the genre, but they’re still good. I’m actually impressed with how they were able to evolve, but still retain certain signature sounds. Worth the listen and 10 bucks I paid to download it

I love the people who are saying this album is trash. EVERY BAND changes their sound sooner or later. This album is great, definitely different and i’m liking it.

I really thought by the two singles that this album was going to be great. Instead the rest of the album sounds to me like Fall Out Boy. I mean, the songs are ok, I guess.

My favorite Atreyu album, next to Lead Sails.
