  • I Just Want to Stop

this is such a beautiful song. I forgot what a gorgeous voice Gino has, and the angelic voices of those talented backup singers are wonderful. every time I hear the song, I listen for the part where the ladies song "you and me," absolutely spectacular!
  • Still love it!

I purchased this back in 1978 and I still listen to it to this day. I plan on going to his concert in May in Pittsburgh after hearing him on PBS. At 61 he still can hit those high notes. He looks pretty hot in those leather pants too!
  • Great album!

To this day, I still listen to this record. Saw him at the Borgatta six years back. Sounded great tho brother Joe wasn't on keys. Nothing like complex chord piano driven adult contempo; it's the best I've ever heard. Paired with Mark Craney's playing, this is a must have for anyone appreciates well-crafted arrangements.
  • original

This is the original album with all the songs that made Gino a staple in the 70's . i just wanna stop, and living inside my self were the two biggest hits of his career. A great album, and would recommend this to anyone
  • Purchased wrong version

I didn't notice until I listened that this song is a newer version of the original. Doesn't sound as good, glad I won't go broke by wasting the $1.29.

  • Masterful Blue-Eyed Soul

    By SoulScribe
Gino is what maudlin talents like Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake desire to be - a true blue-eyed soul brother. This is a perfect album, there is no filler. Along with everything Earth, Wind & Fire and Steely Dan made in the 70s this is a must have.
  • Met Gina

    By LouisianaEer
My friend and I was at an AC/DC concert in Charleston, WV. Low and behold I noticed Gino & band was standing in front of the control station (back of civic center). My buddy and I got up and went down to meet him. Well, he's as nice a fellow as he is a singer. He introduced us to his band. Besides, my buddy and I were going to the Gino concert the next night. Great concert which was the Brother to Brother tour. Side bar, my future wife to be was sitting 5 - 10 rows down. I still get that excitment everytime we kiss. I'm nuts but that's life. Later.
  • OK, I had to buy it!

After "Gist...", I lost interest in Gino for some reason, and never bought another of his albums. I have been wanting his music for my iPod, so I decided to get the albums I have on vinyl. I browsed through this one and heard a maturity and sound that was remarkable, so I had to buy it. Thanks, Gino, for the ongoing memories and good music. I don't care what the reviewer of your earlier albums on iTunes says, let's see him/her write lyrics and music as well as you. I never found Gino's lyrics pretentious, or his vocals uncontrolled, and all that other negative stuff that's been said about you. It's your music and that fantastic voice that got me hooked from the beginning.
