Whole album comes across at reduced volume poor quality sound
So beautiful! This is 80's Music!
Bryan Adams is one of my top favorite artists to listen to right now. Nobody in this present generation has should out to me as 'music', except very few like Kacey Musgraves and Mandy Moore. Bryan is so amazing! I am going to see him in his Bare Bones Tour right when he comes to Los Angeles! All of his songs are so pure like his voice... As well as everything as fantastic and brilliant as himself.
One of my favorite Bryan Adams records. Each track is solid. There are no fillers on this album....there's never really any fillers on his albums anyway. Tracks 5,9, and 10 are my favorites but they are all good. Bryan has a certain something that I can't find in many other artists. If you are new to his music, this album or "reckless" would be a good place to start.
I remember purchasing this long play at my local record shop in the summer of 1983. But some bloody wanker nicked it! What is worse? Either way, this is worth the purchase......
Tim Loucks, mildenhall.

By Captain C128
cuts like a knife, reckless and you want it you got it are the finest music of the young bryan adams of the 80s. every track on the album, cuts like a knife is catchy and they rock! My personal favorites are: the only one, this time, i'm ready and let him know. If you are a bryan adams fan, this album should be on your top list. If you are new to bryan adams, this album is the prelude to his other music. Each of his albums has a theme, a cuts like a knife is about young love, when we were young and carefree and in love.

Bryan Adams has a distinctively great rock 'n' roll voice and a tight band backing him up in & out of the studio. This album stands on its own, but also proved to be a great prelude to "Reckless". I've listened to them back-to-back more than once. Check Bryan out on his "Bare Bones" tour if you can. Great show. Contrary to reviewer Ryan Dellwood, Bryan Adams has in fact made maybe a small, but significant contribution to rock music history.
Cuts like a knife...scraping on a chalkboard
By Ryan Dellwood
Did anyone ever really like Bryan Adams? Seriously. You have got to feel sorry for a real songwriter such as Ryan Adams, whose name sounds dubiously like Bryan's. Bryan Adams should quit. He never gave anything to music.
Take me back
I loved these songs when they first came out on the radio and I still love this album today. I have it on cassette, cd and iTunes. This album gives me good memories.

I started listening to this album in the early 80's. Good stuff from Bryan!
