  • Great album..with caveats

    By Morris Zwick
I recently saw this tour in Washington, DC and his show was excellent. His music really translates well to this format and he was very entertaining. Some reviews says he clowns around too much, but I thought that he played to the venue, and it is great to see a performer as more human, rather than a pull-the-string machine pitching out the same song night after night exactly the same way. That said, the most annoying thing about the show also shows up in other review comments: the hooting, the hollering. Please, make it STOP! I don't mind cheering a performance loudly but the nonsense during a song is both rude and distracting from the actual performance. And please, if you have no sense of pitch, PLEASE don't sing along! :-) Bryan Adams is one of the few performers that can unplug effectively. The music is really a great contrast from the original.
  • Incredible!!

This was one of the MOST INCREDIBLE concerts I have been too. The Weinberg Theater in Frederick, MD was the perfect venue. The acoustics were incredible. He told us onstage he was recording for an album; I wonder if this was it?? Bryan Adams was actually the first person I saw in concert, way back in the 80's. I'm so excited to download and listen to over and over.

I had the pleasure of seeing this show up close and personal last evening. When I found this would be pretty much an acoustic set I was a little apprehensive whether or not the show would be worth attending. Wow, am I glad I went. I was front row center and it's one of the best shows I've seen in awhile. Great show.
  • Lousy and Live

    By Doug104
It's basiclly good music, but you will have to suffer a crowd of "wooooohooooooooooooing" women that scream at his every word. Adams clowns around during good songs and ruins them, and there is constant singalongs (BAD singer singalongs) and interuptions. The music is mostly good but this is another album ruined by crowd noise and an attention loving performer. Don't waste your money on this one.

BA tackled what only few have done before on this one, and rivals Jackson Browne with this solo acoustic. Being one who attended, it was up-beat, fun and his attitude as an entertainer is always top-notch. Above and beyond everything else, this guy plays live as well as his records sound...brilliant artist.
  • Fantastic

It's a great, great thing to see an artist that's been around so long make an album that immortalizes his music of the past while injecting new songs. Listen to that crowd go. This is the greatest artist that ever hit a stage. Hopefully he's just getting started. Nice job Bryan!

Fan since 88'...loved all his shows but this Bare bones was anything but. A whole new spin on his classics and some new faves as well. His "Room Service" album is overlooked as was "11" so thankfully he included live versions on here and at the show (a few days ago which was a stunner for us. Amazing he is at 50!) Buy this album no doubt a must! But go back and get them all. I have his 1st (Bryan Adams, 1980) all the way to this one. Yet check out Room Service and 11 to see what he still can do that isnt heard on Bare Bones...him ROCK OUT!
  • amazing!

I'm only 15 but Bryan has got to be my favorite artist ever! He's getting up in age but he still sings great! I give this a 5 outta 5! Great album!!! With the whole thing in "PLease Forgive Me" I actually got a real good laugh at it cause he did the voices really funny. I don't see why people said please forgive me sucked I thought it was great but that was just me.
  • Great CD

Every song on this album is fantastic. For those below who gave bad reviews about Please Forgive Me, you obviously never went to a Bare Bones show, because you would understand the joke if you had.
