Laura is the worship leader at my church. She is an amazing lady. When she was nominated for female vocalist of the year, she said, "That's great, but it just doesn't reflect my heart." If you knew her, you would know that those words are straight from the heart.
The reason behind the wedding vows is to tell you how much God will pull through to help you honor those vows you made in His sight...
If you read (aka listen) in between the lines, this can relate to you, too. God can and will move anything in your path to bring you closer to Him. Isn't that what's important in life?
She is so amazing
She goes to my church and is an amazing lady. If you like that song then check out her other songs. I think that is so cool that she put part of her weding video in that video.
Great video - Christians... try to act like Jesus
Okay... this video is great. I'm tired of whiny Christians who trash videos because they buy the total consumer mentality and think the world revolves around them. Quit swallowing whatever Hollywood feeds you and watch this video again. It's powerful and it's the closest thing to a real life video I've seen in a long time. Thanks for writing this song. It's a blessing.
This is the best music video I have ever seen and the first that has been based on the singer and what I think is that the video is based on how God can save her husband which means he can move anything in your path and help you as long as you have faith in him
No it's not a traditional music video but you must understand the context. After being married for a year or so, her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The wedding clips simply chronicles the importance of the vows she exchanged with the man she promised to love. "Mighty to Save" in this season of her life just gives her a fresh perspective and reminder that God is in control no matter what. Hope it encourages you as it has me!!
I watched the whole video on a blog - the video tells the story of Laura & her husband....and talks about his battle with a brain tumor. It's more about their story - and sets the context from where she sings this worship song.
Not what I expected
By The Shanester
I was expecting a video by one of my favorite artists for one of my favorite songs, and this appears to be a video done for a church service about trusting God through good times and bad. This is great, don't get me wrong, but I expected a regular music video, not the intermingling of wedding videos and interviews, even though they were quite touching. May God bless Laura and Martin!
concerning the wedding videos, her husband has had a lot of health problems since they got married, so that may have something to do with it.
Great Song, but what's the reason behind the wedding clips???
awesme song horrible o point what soever i wouldnt even give this 1 star if i didnt have to... but if u dont watch the video and listen o just the song i is verry touching
